Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information FitPlannerAI may process, why it is needed, and what choices you have regarding your data.
Last updated: September 2026
1. About this policy
FitPlannerAI helps users organize workouts, nutrition, and physical progress. This policy applies to the app and related services.
2. Data we may process directly
To create and maintain your account, we may process your name, email, protected credentials, session data, and authentication information.
If you choose Google sign-in, we may receive your name, email, and account identifier as provided by Google under the permissions shown during sign-in.
We may also process profile data and onboarding information such as age, height, weight, goal, experience level, availability, training location, and restrictions you provide.
As you use the app, we may store workout plans, nutrition information, progress records, preferences, and changes made to your plans.
3. How we use information
We use this information to create and protect your account, personalize your experience, generate and display plans, track progress, verify access to Free or Premium features, provide support, and maintain service security and stability.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Google Play and App Store subscriptions
When you purchase Premium through Google Play or the App Store, we receive information needed to validate and manage access, including product, subscription status, dates, and technical purchase identifiers. For Apple purchases, we also use a random identifier to bind the purchase to your FitPlannerAI account and process renewal and revocation notifications. After account deletion, we retain this technical binding without association to the deleted user to prevent improper purchase transfers. Full payment method details are processed by the purchasing store and are not received by FitPlannerAI.
5. Premium features and OpenAI
When applicable, Premium features may send information needed to generate plans to OpenAI. Sharing is limited to what is needed to produce the requested response and follows the service settings and agreements adopted by FitPlannerAI. Do not enter unnecessary personal or third-party information in free-text fields.
6. Third-party services
FitPlannerAI may use third-party providers, including Google for sign-in, Google Play, Apple App Store, Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads for advertising, Render for API hosting, Neon/PostgreSQL for data storage, and OpenAI for Premium generation when applicable.
These providers process information under their own policies and contractual obligations, only as needed to deliver their services. Google's processing for advertising is also subject to Google's policies and settings.
7. Advertising and data processed by Google
Authenticated Free plan users may see Banner ads and, when they choose to temporarily unlock an eligible GIF, rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob. Visitors and accounts recognized by the system as Premium do not initialize ads in the current implementation.
To deliver, limit, protect, and measure ads, Google may process technical data such as IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic data. FitPlannerAI does not include names, email addresses, or workout, nutrition, progress, or profile data in ad requests.
On iOS, the current implementation requests non-personalized ads and does not request Apple's tracking permission to access the IDFA. On other supported platforms, ad serving follows UMP choices and applicable settings.
8. Consent and privacy choices
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), integrated with Privacy & Messaging, to present applicable choices before requesting ads where required.
In the United States, messages related to state privacy regulations may be shown depending on the region and the settings made available by Google.
The app provides a “Manage privacy” option when UMP indicates that this entry point should be available. Through this option, you can review or change your privacy choices. Availability and the effect of each choice depend on the region, applicable law, and options offered by the provider.
9. International processing
FitPlannerAI serves users in Brazil and may be made available in other markets. Some providers may process or store information in countries other than the one where you are located. Where applicable, this processing should follow relevant contracts, safeguards, and legal requirements. Specific locations and measures also depend on each provider's infrastructure and policies.
10. Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure. Data may be stored in cloud infrastructure contracted by FitPlannerAI. However, no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described, service protection, and applicable legal obligations.
11. Your rights and deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data and exercise other rights under applicable law. Account deletion can be requested through the public deletion page or by email.
Some records may be kept only as long as necessary to meet a legal obligation, prevent fraud, protect rights, or resolve disputes.
12. Children
FitPlannerAI is not directed to children. A guardian who identifies improper use by a child may request review and deletion through our privacy contact.
13. Changes, responsible person, and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, providers, or law. The date above identifies the current version.
Person responsible for the application: Carlos Eduardo Bernardes. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@fitplannerai.app.
